Marie Dettore

Marie T. Dettore, 89 of Decatur, passed away at 6:38 p.m.,Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January13, 2012 in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek.  Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt.Zion is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Marie was born May 28, 1922 in Brackenridge, PA the daughter of John and Carmina (Fucci) Maturo.  She married Armand Dettore on September 3, 1951.  He preceded her in death onJanuary 14, 2011.  She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church.

She was an officer in the CD of A, a member of the Rosary Society and a member of the Longfellow Inn Card Club.

Surviving is her son: Thomas Dettore and his wife Betty of Decatur; sister: Joann Kesiki of Natrona Heights, PA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
